This build is expected to fix an issue with opening Twitter URL links in Safari. Features include password protection in Notes, Live Photo support in Messages, and the ability to import notes in the Notes app. OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan focuses on bug fixes and stability improvements, but it also does have a few new features, mostly that parallel iOS 9.3. While beta 4 fixed the infamous 1970 date bug, beta 5 adds back the Apple Pencil functionality that was removed in previous betas. IOS 9.3 contains quite a few features for a minor update, including Night Shift, which cuts down on blue light to help users sleep, password protection for Notes, Wi-Fi calling for Verizon users, Apple Music in Carplay, and new 3D Touch shortcuts.
These later builds are more about refinement. Since we're now five iterations into a minor update, there's not a lot that's new. The new builds come just eight days after beta 4. iOS 9.3 and OS X 10.11.4 beta 5 have also been released to their respective public betas.
